Unique Afternoon Tea Experiences

Posted on October 3, 2025 by Margaret Hancock

Sad that summer’s over?

Cheer yourself up with a unique afternoon tea  experience.  Ipswich Tourist Guides have just launched a great programme of their ever popular afternoon tea walks.  Themed walks, followed by tea/coffee and a delicious piece of cake in a cosy cafe are available from October through to April 2026.

Aimed to encourage  you  ‘out and about’,  and brighten the dark days of Autumn and Winter  the guided  walks explore different Ipswich related themes and areas. Why not join us soon? You could hear about some of the town’s 600 listed buildings or theatres & cinemas, its amazing industrial heritage or places that inspired author Charles Dickens? The cost is just £12 per person including refreshments.   Places are limited. Advance booking is essential, either in person or online via Ipswich Institute’s website https://ipswichinstitute.org.uk/ipswichtourist/

Printed leaflets with full details of walks until April 2026 are available locally, or can be downloaded from https://ipswichtourguides.onesuffolk.net/tea-walks and all are available of coourse here at IPswich.love

Need an unusual present for a friend or relation? ‘Open’ gift vouchers are available for the  walk  of their choice (subject to availability)
