Celebrating Heritage Open Days 2026, this free walk is entitled Unsung Heritage Heroes

A walk to celebrate Ipswich’s Volunteer Army taking action to preserve and promote the town’s heritage and culture. Explore buildings and features connected with civic, heritage and creative groups and their members. Learn about enthusiasts over many decades – architects, embroiderers, musicians, sailors, engineers – all have freely given their talents and time to benefit the town.

Starting 2 pm on Cornhill, Ipswich IP1 1DH
