Can you captivate a crowd in just two minutes? Show Ipswich what you’ve got at Eastern Angles’ new regional Monologue Slam!
Whether you love the classics or are more into modern drama, the East Anglian Monologue Slam is your time to shine.
Spear-headed by local touring theatre company Eastern Angles, this event will take place at the Studio Theatre in the Eastern Angles Centre – a thriving arts centre in the heart of West Ipswich.
Perform in front of a buzzing audience and top industry professionals. Up for grabs: a £100 cash prize and a professional headshot photoshoot session.
Claim the stage and show Ipswich what you’re about.
To enter: send a video of your best two-minute monologue (classical or contemporary – your choice!) to the Eastern Angles team at admin@easternangles.co.uk by 5pm Monday 1st September 2025.
Entrants will be put into age categories:
- 9-13
- 14-18
- 19-25
- 25+
If selected, you’ll then perform in your age category heat at the Eastern Angles Studio on Wednesday 15th October at one of Eastern Angles’ much-loved Play Pizza Pint nights.
So whether you’ve got your heart set on drama school or just love to perform – step up, speak out, and show Ipswich what you’re made of.
