Run by the Inside Out Community, the Creative Wellbeing Art Studio – Wednesday offers a wonderfully relaxed, welcoming environment. Running on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, it is the perfect opportunity to experiment with various art forms, make new friends, and boost your mental wellbeing through gentle self-expression. Guided Walks at Ipswich Institute

Starting from the historic Ipswich Institute, the ITGA Tuesday and Thursday Guided Walks 2026 are led by the expert guides from the Ipswich Tourist Guides Association. Taking place on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, these walks are a brilliant way for both lifelong locals and curious visitors to discover hidden heritage, architectural marvels, and the stories that shaped the oldest continuously inhabited town in England. Stay & Play at Gainsborough Community Library

Dance Class at Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre

Ready to get moving and have a laugh? Head over to the spacious Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 pm to 8:00 pm. The weekly Kesgrave Dance Class, run by the energetic team at Pia Dance Fit, is designed to help you shake off the day’s worries, burn some energy, and learn some fantastic new dance moves. It’s fully inclusive, highly supportive, and suitable for dancers of all shapes, sizes, and experience levels.

Legs Bums & Tums at Gainsborough Sports & Community Centre

Pop down to Gainsborough Sports & Community Centre on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am to 10:15 am for the popular Legs Bums & Tums Class. Part of the excellent Ipswich Fit programme, this session is perfect for building core strength, toning, and boosting your overall cardio fitness. Moderate Cycling Group at Christchurch Park

If you’re eager to spend more time outdoors on two wheels, the weekly guided rides departing from the beautiful Christchurch Park are the perfect match. The Free cycling activities – Moderate Cycling Group meets outside the Reg Driver Visitor Centre on Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Organised by Suffolk County Council, these free guided rides help cyclists build road confidence, improve stamina, and discover scenic local routes at a highly comfortable, moderate pace. Just remember to book your place in advance!

Free Meditation & Yoga at Oddfellows Hall
