Ipswich Art Trail

Posted on July 19, 2025 by Sam Sherman

Ipswich Visual Arts Community is an artist-led community highlighting the vibrant abundance of artists living and working in Ipswich.  We are a visual arts community dedicated to supporting our local artists, with the goal to provide a platform where artists can showcase their talents and connect with art enthusiasts from all levels of society. We are inclusive and believe art can inspire and unite the wider community, and it is our desire to engage through creative expression.
As part of this year’s Heritage Open Days celebrations, we have created an Ipswich Art Trail!
The trail will feature  a grand selection of creative work by a variety of Ipswich based artists – both in the Unitarian Meeting House and in a marquee beside it.

Start the Trail at Ipswich Unitarian Meeting House in central Ipswich – Friars Street, IP1 1TD (It is beside the also grade 1 listed Willis glass building designed by Sir Norman Foster)

Our Ipswich Visual Arts Community (IVAC) event has 10 venues to visit, 3 of which are part of Heritage Open Days. Come along and share in what IVAC have created for this weekend.

Watch demonstrations by Ipswich artists, participate in art workshops, and view some amazing art, buildings, spaces, and galleries. Meet and chat to the Ipswich visual arts community, and find out what a creative bunch we are. YES ALL HERE IN IPSWICH! Fully illustrated map/leaflet available from the main hub of the trail – the marquee at Unitarian Meeting House, Friars St, Ipswich IP1 1TD and other venues.
