Information - Summer Theatre School Showcase 2026

We are so excited to invite you to a very special evening at the Ipswich Regent Theatre this August! If you love the glitz and glamour of the West End or the show-stopping tunes of Broadway, you won’t want to miss the Summer Theatre School Showcase 2026.

This isn’t just any performance; it is a celebration of local talent and hard work. For one week, the talented team at Enchanted Entertainment has been working closely with a group of passionate young performers aged between 8 and 18. They’ve been busy honing their craft, perfecting their vocals, and learning high-energy routines from some of the world’s most-loved musicals.

Support Our Rising Stars

After a week of intensive rehearsals, these young stars are stepping out from the rehearsal room and onto the big stage. For many, this is a dream come true, and they are ready to show Ipswich exactly what they’ve achieved. From powerful ballads to iconic dance numbers, the showcase is designed to give these students a professional theatre experience in front of a live audience.

By coming along, you aren’t just seeing a great show—you’re supporting the next generation of performers. Who knows? You might just be seeing a future world-class star right here in Ipswich before they hit the big time!

What to Expect on the Night

The atmosphere is sure to be electric! The doors will open at 5pm, giving you plenty of time to find your seats and soak up the excitement before the curtain rises. The show starts promptly at 6pm and promises to be a fast-paced journey through the best of musical theatre.

Whether you have a friend or family member performing, or you just love supporting local community arts, this is a fantastic way to spend a Saturday evening in the heart of our town.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
