We’re Sarah and Robert, a husband and wife team with over 25 years of experience in property development, all while balancing our day jobs. Property has always been a shared passion of ours, especially when it involves buildings with history, character, and a touch of the unusual. We’ve never been ones to follow the ordinary path, we love spotting the hidden potential in places that others might pass by.

Over the years, we’ve taken on all sorts of projects, including the conversion of a beautiful 19th-century Methodist chapel, which really sparked our love for transforming unique spaces. So when we came across these old silos just on the outskirts of Ipswich, we instantly knew they had something special about them. Their industrial charm and quirky shapes completely captured our imagination, and we could already picture them as something truly different.

Converting the Grain silos has been one of our most challenging — and most rewarding — adventures yet. There have been plenty of hurdles along the way, but we’ve enjoyed every single moment of bringing them back to life.

Our goal has always been to create somewhere that feels welcoming, peaceful, and a little bit magical — a place where guests can relax, unwind, and make lasting memories. We’re so proud of what the silos have become, and we can’t wait to share them with you. The Silos are nestled in the picturesque village of Belstead, outside Ipswich – perfect for exploring the town and county.  Each property sleeps up to six guests, offering two stylish bedrooms alongside a king size sofa bed in the lounge. Each sleeping area enjoys access to its own private bathroom, providing privacy and convenience for every guest. At the heart of each silo is a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, ideal for cooking, sharing meals, and spending quality time together.  Step outside into your own secluded outdoor area, where you can relax on the outdoor furniture or unwind in the private hot tub—perfect for both peaceful escapes and celebratory moments.

For added practicality, guests also have access to a washing machine and tumble dryer, making longer stays and family trips effortless.  The property also benefits from 2 dedicated parking spaces at the front, including an electric charging point for added convenience.
