Have you ever been to one of Ipswich’s best music venues?

St Peter’s by the Waterfront is the independent Arts and Heritage Centre located between the Ipswich town centre and Waterfront will be bringing a varied programme of events over the autumn and beyond to suit all tastes in music along with talks on various subjects.

String quartet by candlelight, flamenco, rock and jazz all coming up this autumn at St Peter’s by the Waterfront. and all events listed here for you to browse and book!

September starts with the return of the Candlelight by Fever string quartet performances; Ed Sheeran meets Coldplay and the Best of Hans Zimmer on the 5th September. The Ed Sheeran meets Coldplay performance is already sold out, but there are more opportunities to see this show in October and November, along with the music of Fleetwood Mac, Queen and Adele.

There are limited tickets available for the Art of Andalucía on the 7th September, with a captivating performance by flamenco guitarist Daniel Martinez, with world-renowned dancer Angel Reyes who is joined by Gabriela Pouso.

These shows are followed up by the final Jazz by the Waterfront show of the year, featuring returning act DixieMix Jazz Band on Friday 12th September, with their mix of jazz favourites old and new with their own twist.

A string of rock shows follow, featuring in September the Tom Petty Legacy, 19th September, the Classic Rock American Highway, 20th September; with the likes of the Doobie Brothers, the Steve Miller band, Springsteen and more being performed and Steemy Dan, 27th September, followed in October by Led Free & Co, 25th October; unleashing the full power of rock legends, Led Zeppelin, Free and Bad Company and the greatest tribute to the Electric Light Orchestra, ELO Encounter on the 31st October.

St Peter’s by the Waterfront will also be hosting Seed Talks, with a varying agenda of topics, including the Science of Magic Mushrooms with Dr David Luke on the 24th September and Folklore & Women, the power of folklore in reclaiming female stories on the 29th October.
