Information - Where There Is A Will There Is A Way – An Introduction To Probate Records
This workshop will introduce probate records as a source for local and family history. We will look at terminology, where wills were proved, where wills are stored and how to find them. It will also explore how to read and interpret their contents and look at probate inventories and what they can reveal about our ancestors’ lives.
