Information - Wheel Throwing (bottle making)

Whether you have never tried to throw on a pottery wheel before or want to continue on your learning journey, this bottle making workshop is perfect.

Potter Karl Greene, will guide you through each stage, from wedging the clay, centering on the wheel and throwing the forms, to drying and trimming.

The aim will be to make 3 bottles, your pieces will be bisgue fired and either glazed by us in a limited colour range or you will have the option to book in to a glazing session at an additional cost. All materials, firings and refreshments are provided.
