Information - Save the date! – The Orwell Challenge 2026

In its 49th year, the 2026 event will be on 28th June 2026

Our event is open to all. If you would like to use it to raise funds for a chosen charity or good cause, that’s great – please let us know. Should you wish to take part but you’re unsure about which charity to support, don’t worry, your entry fee is already helping the many local, Suffolk charities supported by the Ipswich East Rotary Club.  As a registered charity, every penny we receive from participants will be redirected to one or more of the many charities we regularly support, including: FIND (Families in Need), Suffolk Family Carers, East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH), Teenage Cancer Trust, MacMillan, SARS (Suffolk Accident Rescue Service), and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The event starts from Gainsborough Sports & Community Centre
