Rock Against Leukaemia 9: Ipswich Festival of Local Music to Raise Funds for Childhood Cancer

On Saturday 9 August 2025, the Steamboat Tavern, Ipswich, will host Rock Against Leukaemia 9 (RAL9), a community music event featuring top local bands, food, drink, stalls and a raffle, all in support of Children with Cancer UK.

RAL9 brings together some of the region’s best local acts for an eclectic mix of rock, acoustic, punk and more. A one-off supergroup of musicians from different bands (including organiser Andy Heffer-Lamond), will be performing a unique set of covers in a completely new style each year. What genre will they tackle this time? You’ll have to come along to find out!

By joining RAL9, attendees help advance this mission and stand in solidarity with families affected by childhood cancer.
