Information - Phil Wang: OH NO

Are you ready for a night of absolute belly laughs, Ipswich? We have some incredibly exciting comedy news to share! The brilliantly funny Phil Wang is bringing his brand-new stand-up show, OH NO, right here to our very own Regent Theatre.

Whether you know him from his hilarious antics on Taskmaster, his quick wit on Would I Lie to You, or his memorable (if brief!) screen time in the blockbuster movie Wonka, you know you’re in for a treat. Phil is one of the UK’s most exciting comedy talents, and we can’t wait to welcome him to town.

What’s the show about?

Phil Wang is back, and believe it or not, he’s older than ever before. He’s even sporting a brand-new moustache that practically bristles with wisdom.

In OH NO, Phil navigates the modern world with his signature dry intellect. His shoulders might be groaning under the weight of being the “only cool millennial left,” but he’s ready to guide us through the vibe shift. According to Phil, nice is out and right is in. Everyone’s an idiot but him—and honestly, we’re inclined to let him prove it to us!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
