An opportunity to explore paper folding and make a selection of origami flowers, butterflies and boxes with the massively talented Monika Cilmi

In this origami workshop, artist Monika Cilmi will introduce you to this ancient art form. Starting with the main bases first, with Monika’s guidance and step by step instructions, you will create some traditional origami used in Japanese culture such as the tulip, the kusudama flower, the butterfly and the dove as well as various Japanese containers only using origami paper.

You will use beautiful Japanese plain and patterned double-sided paper to make each of your flowers unique.
