Information - Eid al-Adha Jama’ah at Christchurch Park

The Eid In The Park Ipswich Select Committee is pleased to announce that, Insha’Allah, we will be holding the Eid al-Adha Jama’ah at Christchurch Park, Ipswich, on either:

Friday 6th June or Saturday 7th June 2025 – (Subject to moon sighting).

EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

  • Gates Open: 9:30 AM
  • Eid Jama’ah (Congregational Prayer): 10:00 AM
  • Khutbah (Arabic): 10:10 AM
  • English Lecture (Bayaan): 10:20 AM

Please remember to bring your own prayer mats, picnic mats, and anything else you may need for comfort and cleanliness. There will be no shared mats provided.

This year, we are also supporting a local cause: 4YP (Suffolk Young People’s Health Project) – a charity providing essential mental health and wellbeing services to young people aged 12–25 across Suffolk. Visit https://4yp.org.uk/ for more information.
Come with wudhu, dress modestly, and be prepared for the weather. Let’s gather as one Ummah in celebration and remembrance.
