Information - Chinese for Beginners

Learn basic Chinese Mandarin with our Chinese for Beginners Leisure Learning course. This course for absolute beginners is delivered by an experienced native Chinese Mandarin tutor.

Learn phrases, keywords and conversation skills in topics such as Meeting and Greeting, Families and Friends, Food and Drink, Numbers, Days, Weeks, months and years, Colours, Self-Introductions, and much more! All lessons will include Pinyin (Chinese Phonic), relevant culture-themed sessions, and basic characterless learning activities.

The course will then lead onto Term 2 and Term 3 should you choose to continue.

You will need to bring: A notepad and a pen.

Timings: Wednesday Evenings 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm (10 Weeks)

Course cost: £125

Refreshments are available from the vending machines on the campus which include both hot and cold drinks.
