Information - Blank Page – Filmmaking workshop with Evie Capon

Join singer and performing arts practitioner Evie Capon for this free creative workshop for 10-16 year olds at Chantry Library, as part of The Blank Page Project! Discover your inner filmstar and learn how to plan, script write, film and edit your own short film.

Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks!

This film making workshop will explore techniques for writing storyboards, acting for camera, different camera angles and directing. Using iPads and iMovie for the editing process, participants will learn from Evie’s techniques for voice overs and sound effects. This workshop will explore what is involved in being a voice over artist in the editing process of film making. By the end of the workshop, participants will go home having created their very own short film expressing something important to them.
