Information - Ashtons Ipswich Charity Treasure Hunt

This September we are back with our popular Ipswich Treasure Hunt.  The base this year will be the Ashtons Legal Ipswich office.

Format

The format once again will have teams from local organisations who will spend an hour or two exploring Ipswich whilst answering tricky observation questions.  Once questions are answered, teams return to our start/finish point at the Ashtons Legal office.  Post-hunt, food is provided to get you warmed up and we finish with prizes for the team that answers most questions correctly.

You will need three people with the fourth member of the team made up with Ashtons staff. I can’t guarantee they will know the answers, but how often do you get free advice from a solicitor?

Ashtons Charitable Trust

This is one of the events that we use to raise money for our Ashtons Charitable Trust. 100% of entry fees will go to the Trust, which is then distributed to local charities.

There will also be the opportunity to supplement the charitable giving by buying raffle tickets along the way.

Booking

The event is open to any organisation that can muster a team of three enthusiastic people.

The Friends of Ipswich Museums share a ‘Royal Pair’

The Lower Tudor Room at Christchurch Mansion. just off the Great Hall, is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies.  The room is genuinely of Tudor date, but it is not original to the house.  In the 1920s, many timber-framed buildings in Ipswich were being demolished, often for road-widening, and this room, and the one above, […]
