Who We Are
Leading Lives is more than a social enterprise—we’re a worker cooperative, owned and run by the very people who deliver our services. That means every decision we make is rooted in care, collaboration, and a deep belief in the power of community. We support adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, and others with a social care need, always putting their voices and choices first.
Our Ipswich Services: Built With and For the Community
Our hubs in Ipswich—Rushmere and New South West—are places where friendships are made, skills are discovered, and confidence grows. Whether it’s a creative session, a gardening project, or a Thursday night at our youth social club, every activity is about bringing people together and helping them shine.
- Daytime Opportunities: From arts and crafts to sports and gardening, our group activities are designed to spark joy, build confidence, and create lasting connections.
- Short Term Enablement: We offer practical sessions to help people master daily living skills, from cooking to using public transport—opening doors to independence and new experiences.
- Support to Live at Home: Our team provides tailored support in supported housing, always with a focus on choice, dignity, and growing independence.
- Independent Lives: Homecare isn’t just about tasks—it’s about helping people set and achieve their own goals, both at home and out in the community.
- Youth and Adult Social Clubs: Our Rushmere night hub and Suffolk Autism Social Club are safe, welcoming spaces for young people and adults to relax, have fun, and build friendships.
