Information - Zine Club at the Pub

Join Amy Wragg – experienced & prolific zine maker – in the snug at The Spread Eagle, on the second Thursday of the month for our friendly new arts events: Zine Club at the Pub. £10 per person. All materials provided.

What could go wrong? Sharp objects and pints, sounds like a delightful combo to me! 18+ adults only. No special skills required, just ability to use scissors (safely of course) and your imagination.

Zines are handmade DIY (maga)zines, or fanzines (pronounced ‘zeen’). Made using collage, sticks, stamps, newspapers, magazines, custom sticky tape, and other found materials. We will make a one-sheet zine, single-sided & folded into eight equal segments. Pre-folded templates can be provided too.

Second Thursday of the month 7.30pm-9.30pm throughout 2025.

Amy Wragg is trained in safeguarding, has a full DBS, and is insured as an artist to deliver work.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
