Do we hide ourselves to fit in? What is it to be truly seen? You & Us is a powerful double bill of live contemporary dance and film, accompanied by a striking photographic exhibition. The performance takes audiences on a journey into identity – an electrifying fusion of movement, film, and image that asks: who are we when we stop hiding?
Through expressive choreography, hidden stories of vulnerability, strength, and the quiet courage to be authentic emerge. With a soul-stirring score by MOBO award-winner Lewis Wright, Cathy Waller Company’s acclaimed short dance film, and photography by The1Harris, You & Us is a celebration of truth, visibility, and unapologetic self-expression.
This full performance is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long. It begins with a short film (15 mins) followed by a live dance performance (55 mins). The photography exhibition will be displayed from Friday 17 April, 7.00pm, to Friday 24 April.
