Information - What’s Love Got To Do With It?

Calling all Tina Turner fans! Get ready to shake your tailfeathers because the ultimate celebration of the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll is heading right here to Ipswich. Following a massive 2026 tour that saw over 60,000 fans singing along, the hit show What’s Love Got To Do With It? is back for 2027, and it’s looking bigger and better than ever.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just love a night of high-energy music, this is one date you’ll want to get in your diary. It’s more than just a tribute; it’s a full-throttle celebration of Tina Turner’s incredible career, brought to life with a sensational live band and all the powerhouse vocals you’d expect.

A Night of Non-Stop Hits

Prepare yourself for a setlist that reads like a “Greatest Hits” album. The evening is packed with showstopping performances of the classics we all know and love. You can look forward to hearing Proud Mary, River Deep – Mountain High, Simply The Best, Private Dancer, and Nutbush City Limits.

The show is designed in two halves to give you the full Tina experience. It begins by inhabiting the soulful, powerful atmosphere of her live concerts with hits like Private Dancer, before cranking up the energy in the second half. By the time the band hits the high-octane classics, we guarantee you’ll be on your feet, dancing in the aisles of the Regent Theatre!

Meet the Star: Holly Bannis

Taking on the iconic role of Tina is the incredibly talented Holly Bannis. Music truly runs in her blood—she’s the daughter of Greg Bannis, the former lead singer of Hot Chocolate! Holly’s journey to the spotlight is a wonderful story of dedication. After performing semi-professionally for a decade, she wowed audiences on ITV’s Starstruck.

Holly spent years obsessively studying Tina’s performances, perfecting those legendary moves, the signature walk, and that unmistakable energy. Originally joined as a backing singer and understudy, her raw talent was so undeniable that she quickly stepped into the lead role, earning standing ovations across the country ever since.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees.
