Information - Thirty Years of Garden Birdwatch
An illustrated talk by Susan Jones from the British Trust for Ornithology
Thousands of people record the birds which visit their gardens each week and send their results to the British Trust for Ornithology.
Susan will explain how this simple bit of citizen science is used to monitor important changes in the populations of some of our best loved birds. More importantly, that data is used to try to find reasons for change and suggest how it might be possible to reverse worrying declines.
