Information - The Legend of Barry White

Are you ready for a night of smooth soul and incredible music right here in the heart of Ipswich? We are so excited to share that The Legend of Barry White is coming to the Corn Exchange, and it promises to be a night you won’t forget!

This isn’t just any tribute act; this is the only UK touring show dedicated to the maestro himself. Direct from the USA, the show features the world-renowned William Hicks, affectionately known as “the big man with the big voice.” If you close your eyes, you’ll feel like the legend has returned to the stage.

A Night of Timeless Hits

Barry White was a true icon with over 100 million records sold. Whether you’re looking for a romantic night out or a fun evening with friends, you’ll be singing along to every word. You can expect to hear all the massive million-selling hits, including:

  • You’re the First, the Last, My Everything
  • Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe
  • You See the Trouble with Me
  • Never, Never Gonna Give You Up
  • Just the Way You Are
  • Let the Music Play

Incredible Talent on Stage

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, William Hicks captures the silky-smooth bass-baritone vocals of the three-time Grammy winner perfectly. He’s joined by his fantastic live band, Soul Unlimited, and the gorgeous Motown Supreme Dreamgirls. Together, they bring an incredible attention to detail that makes this show a standout production.

Don’t just take our word for it—Motown songwriting legend Eddie Holland (of Holland-Dozier-Holland fame) said: “William’s vocal and deliverance is phenomenal and this show is simply stunning.”
