Information - The Anglia Comedy Allstars May 2026

Get ready for a night of side-splitting laughter right in the heart of town! The Anglia Comedy Allstars are returning to the Ipswich Corn Exchange this May, and they are bringing an absolutely stellar line-up with them. Whether you’re a fan of quick-fire one-liners or relatable observational humour, this show has something for everyone.

Mark your calendars for Friday, 22nd May 2026, because this is shaping up to be one of the funniest nights of the year in Ipswich. Let’s take a look at the incredible talent heading our way!

The Master of One-Liners: Milton Jones

You’ll recognize him instantly by the loud shirts and the even louder laughs. Milton Jones, a regular fixture on Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, and Radio 4, is bringing his gloriously daft nonsense to our stage. Milton’s unique style of wordplay and surreal storytelling is world-class. As The Guardian puts it: “No-one can touch Jones when he hits his stride.”

Multi-Talented Star: Jayde Adams

We are thrilled to welcome the multi-award-winning Jayde Adams to Ipswich. You might know her from her dazzling stint on Strictly Come Dancing or her starring role in the ITV sitcom Ruby Speaking. Jayde is a powerhouse performer who has appeared in everything from Good Omens to the Take That movie Greatest Days. Her stand-up is “brimming with funny gags” and delivered with a warmth that makes her a huge crowd favourite.

From Carpet Fitter to Internet Sensation: Jack Skipper

Hailing from South London, Jack Skipper has had a whirlwind rise to fame. Recently transitioning from a carpet fitter to a full-time comedian, Jack has become a massive hit online with over 14 million likes on TikTok. He brings a brilliant “everyday guy” persona to the stage, sharing hilarious observations on working-class life and family. He’s a relatable, fresh voice in comedy that you won’t want to miss.

The New Voice of Comedy: Jacob Hawley

Rounding out this incredible bill is Jacob Hawley. Jacob has quickly become a critically acclaimed voice in the UK comedy scene. Host of the Screen Rot podcast and a regular on Talk Sport and The Russell Howard Hour, Jacob is described as a “down-to-earth talent who’s got it in spades.”

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
