Information - Teacher Advisory Panel

Are you a teacher based in Ipswich or the surrounding area? Discover how our museums can enhance your curriculum by joining us at Christchurch Mansion on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, from 3 to 5 PM for our next Teacher Advisory Panel meeting.

The event will feature an exclusive talk from our conservator to give an insight into what goes on behind the scenes of the museum during redevelopment, along with consultation about what teaching staff want to see us offer in the future. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact the Learning Team via email.

This event is part of the Colchester and Ipswich Museums initiative, which is supported by Ipswich Borough Council and the Heritage Fund and funded by Arts Council England.

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
