Information - Talk: World War I in Cartoons
Cartoons and the carnage of World War I would seem unlikely bedfellows. But cartoons are not designed only to bring a smile to the face.
This talk illuminates the numerous agendas (including good old-fashioned humour) in the creative minds of cartoonists, photographers – and an occasional artist – that collectively formed a cultural hallmark of an Empire-breaking conflict.
