During World War Two there were many romantic relationships between US Army personnel and British girls, some happy and some with tragic consequences.

Aviation author and historian Ian Mclachlan looks at local and regional examples from the 60-70,000 GI Brides and examines the courage of young women who left these shores for a new life in the New World.

Ticket includes a cup of tea or coffee.
Ages 16+
