Information - Suffolk Pride Fringe Festival: Youth Takeover

Our Pride event aimed at young people and families will begin with a mini march at 11:45 am, meeting inside The Hold, we will march out into the Uni car park and back into the building. Before the live music performance starts at 12.10 pm.

There will be a games zone provided by Geek Retreat, arts & crafts, Stalls, Karaoke, a face painter & The First Pride Bus will be on site.

We couldn’t run the day without thinking of those of us who get overwhelmed by events like these, so don’t leave, just take a break in The Retreat or Hush. Two zones to help give you the time and space to better cope when trying to engage with your community.

The Hold is an accessible venue.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
