We understand that taking that first step into the next chapter of your life can be quite daunting, to help you take this important step we have put together the top frequently asked questions about our open events so you know what to expect before you arrive!

What time shall I arrive?

All activities will repeat throughout the event so don’t worry about rushing to get there for the start.

Where can I park?

The College car parks are free on a first come, first served basis during each Open Event. You are welcome to park in either Rope Walk (postcode for Sat Nav is IP4 2LB) or Grimwade Street (postcode for Sat Nav is IP4 1LP) when visiting us.

Please note that the Grimwade Street car park is shared with Goals so will fill up quickly – There will be more spaces available at our Rope Walk car park.

Please do not park in the University of Suffolk car park as you may receive a fine.

What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive please head to the main college reception where you will be greeted by our staff and registered.

After registration, you will be able to take a guided tour around our amazing facilities and get some advice and guidance from the teaching teams.

Can I apply on the day?

Yes! You can head into the learning curve to fill out applications with help and support from our staff.

Will I be able to get some information about additional support and finance at the event?

Our student services team will be at the event to help you with any financial questions and to offer advice about additional support needs.

Will there be food/drink available?

The college food court will be open for visitors to purchase a range of drinks and snacks.

Is there a way I could look around the facilities before the open event?
