Information - Suffolk Creatives Launch with John Ferguson

Join us for a free drop-in event on Saturday, 25th January 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

We are excited to launch the Suffolk Creatives project and will be joined by renowned photographer John Ferguson. This event offers a unique opportunity to meet John and delve into his latest work, Suffolk Creatives. In celebration, you are invited to explore the An Eye For Life: Photography by John Ferguson exhibition. Here, you will encounter new photographs and have the opportunity to meet the photographer in person.

The Suffolk Creatives project showcases portraits of female creators across Suffolk, spanning poets, painters, and saddle makers. These compelling photos are a dynamic complement to the existing exhibition at Christchurch Mansion. You will also have the chance to engage directly with John Ferguson and ask him questions, making this an excellent opportunity not to be missed.

Suitable for ages 12+.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
