Information - Springboard Juniors

Springboard Juniors is a fun, friendly and inclusive class for children and young people with additional needs, where they can move and explore their creativity in a safe and welcoming space.

The class uses dance as a tool to develop motor skills and creativity through movement games, sensory props and structured exercises and routines.

All classes are designed to encourage self-expression, build confidence, and develop social skills.

The classes are led by Margherita and assisted by Eva and Olivia, who all have lots of experience working alongside children and young people with additional needs.

From these classes you can expect:

  • A place to express yourself
  • To learn new skills
  • A social space
  • A positive impact on your body and mind
  • A safe, welcoming environment
  • To explore dance and movement using props

How to book

The age guidance for this class is 4 to 11 years (4 year olds should be attending school and turning 5 within the current academic year). If your child is over 11 but you think they would benefit from attending this class, please feel free to call our friendly sales team for a chat on 01473 295230. If you are unsure whether the class is right for your child, you are welcome to book a taster session by contacting our sales team.

Springboard classes are offered as Pay As You Go or by booking a full-term course (with the option to pay in half termly installments). For more information, please call our sales team on 01473 295230.

Bookings will close each week on a Friday at midday. This is to allow us enough time to send out the required forms for you to complete so that we have all the necessary information about your child to share with the tutor before they participate in the class. If you are already an existing participant, you can still book on after this time by calling our sales team.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
