Information - Spill 2025 – PORT TO PORT SOPHIE GILLER

SPILL Festival is an internationally renowned celebration of arts, culture, and performance in Ipswich.

Port To Port is a new textile artwork celebrating the historic maritime communities of Lowestoft, Ipswich, and Felixstowe.

Made by screen-printing the personal memories, images, and favourite objects of local participants onto large-scale patchwork sails, Port To Port champions our region’s rich history of traditional crafts and preserves the collective experiences of the people who live here.

The artwork will transform and grow as it travels from one location to another over the coming months, becoming a dynamic portrait of Suffolk’s coastal life and culture.
