Information - Sing-a-Long-a Wicked

Hello, Ipswich! We have some absolutely magical news to share with you. If you’ve been swept up in the “Wicked” fever lately, you are going to love what’s coming to our very own Regent Theatre.

Get ready to defy gravity because Sing-a-Long-a Wicked (Part 1) is officially flying into town! This isn’t just a trip to the cinema; it’s a full-blown, immersive celebration of the smash-hit film musical, and you’re invited to be the star of the show.

What is a Sing-a-Long-a Experience?

If you haven’t been to a “Sing-a-Long-a” event before, you are in for a treat. Brought to you by the legendary producers behind the sing-along versions of The Sound of Music and The Greatest Showman, this is an interactive screening where the lyrics are right there on the big screen. No need to worry about forgetting the words—everyone will be singing along at the top of their lungs!

There will be a live host on stage to get the energy going, teach you some signature dance moves, and guide you through using your very own free props bag. Whether you’re cheering for the goodies or booing the baddies, your participation is what makes the afternoon so special.

Dress to Impress (and Win!)

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged! Whether you want to go full “Glinda” in your finest pink sparkles or channel your inner “Elphaba” with some iconic green Shiz University gear, we want to see it. There will even be a fancy dress competition on stage, so don’t be shy—now is the time to let your creativity shine!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees.
