Information - Sewing Surgery

Are you struggling to get a project past a certain stage? Have you stalled on a sewing project because something has gone wrong but you’re not sure how to fix it? Trying to mend something but don’t know how best to begin? Having difficulty fitting a garment and not sure how to adjust your pattern? Want to learn how to take up a pair of trousers?

Join us for our new Sewing Surgery! These are half day slots for 2.5 hours each, where you will be able to bring in any of your sewing queries and get help from our sewing tutor.

You can either book a morning, or an afternoon slot, or book both if you want a full day of assistance.

Supplied: large cutting table, rotary cutters, electric scissors and dressmaking

shears, along with our array of modern sewing machines, overlockers, tea and coffee.

Required: your pattern, fabric with matching thread, haberdashery (zips etc) and lunch.
