Information - Romesh Ranganathan – Will Change Your Life

We have some seriously exciting news for comedy fans here in Ipswich! The one and only Romesh Ranganathan is headed to the Regent Theatre, and he’s making a very big promise: he’s going to change your life.

Whether you’re a long-time fan or just need a good night out to kick off 2027, this is one show you won’t want to miss. Romesh is bringing his signature dry wit and hilarious observations to our local stage for two nights this January.

Will Romesh Really Change Your Life?

According to the man himself, he’s done with the usual “quick fixes” and “papering over the cracks.” His latest tour show is apparently “scientifically proven” to improve your self-esteem—though he does admit that the “scientific sample” consisted of the three people who actually live with him!

Expect a night of honest, relatable, and laugh-out-loud comedy. Romesh plans to teach us all how to successfully bottle up our feelings and then pour them out to a room full of strangers. It’s a bold strategy, but if anyone can make it work, it’s him. By the end of the night, you’re guaranteed* to become a “Romesh Rangana-FAN.”

*Disclaimer: It might not actually change your life, but it will certainly be a fantastic night out!

A Household Name at the Regent

You’ll likely recognise Romesh from… well, everywhere! He’s the star of The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, A League Of Their Own, and Rob & Romesh Vs. When he’s not on your TV screen hosting The Weakest Link, he’s taking over the airwaves on BBC Radio 2 or recording his hit podcasts like Wolf & Owl.

Having a performer of this calibre right here in the heart of Ipswich is a real treat for our local arts scene. The Regent Theatre provides the perfect backdrop for his sharp, observational style.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees.
