Information - Rhythm of Summer – Two Choirs One Groove

Rhythm of Summer – Two Choirs, One Groove brings together Suffolk Soul Singers and Cambridge Jazz Choir for a vibrant evening of live music. Directed by Andi Hopgood, the concert features gospel, soul and Motown from Suffolk Soul Singers alongside jazz standards, swing and Latin rhythms from Cambridge Jazz Choir. Each choir will showcase its own distinctive style before coming together making a powerful combined sound.
Accompanied by a live band, the evening is full of energy, groove and uplifting harmonies. The highlight comes when the two choirs unite to create a rich and vibrant sound that celebrates the joy of singing together.
More than just a concert, Rhythm of Summer is a celebration of community choirs and the people who make them special. It is a chance to experience great live music while celebrating friendship, connection and the power of voices joined together in song.
