Information - Red Rose Chain invite you to explore Gippeswyk Hall & The Avenue Theatre

Ever wondered what really went on in our beautiful (most-likely haunted!) base at Gippeswyk Hall over the centuries? Wanted to poke around the curious Tudor building for clues about its history and heritage? Well, you can do just that!

On the 19th September, we are throwing open our doors to the public as part of Heritage Open Days, so anyone can come and explore Gippeswyk Hall and The Avenue Theatre. You are invited to step into our leading arts and heritage venue for an immersive theatrical experience which combines exciting moments of real local history.

You can learn all about its fascinating history through guided tours running throughout the day regularly from 1100-1600.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
