Readying for Recant?

Join the Friends of Ipswich Museums as Carrie Calver updates us on the Museum’s move from Decant to Recant

Venue – Online via Zoom
Cost – £5 per connection (includes multiple users)

After the success of our previous years’ online talks, we will be repeating the format this coming January. As we can’t usually hold ‘in-person’ events during the darker winter months, we are pleased that we can stay connected with our online talks. This time we are even more delighted that Carrie Calver, Post Decant Team Leader and Conservation Assistant at the Museums, will be joining us to reveal how the Decant (the emptying of the Museum in preparation for its redevelopment) is evolving into the Recant (getting 1,000s of objects ready for redisplay). Explore some of the wonderful work that the team has been doing in the last few months.

Recant is just around the corner. Exciting times lie ahead!
