Information - Photography Evening Class with Gillian Allard

This five week course will be a creative refresher aimed at people with an DSLR. Sky Art Master of Photography, Gillian Allard

This five week course will be a creative refresher aimed at people with a DSLR who have basic understanding of the camera, so just off auto…but need guidance through the functions to find creative solutions that excite them.

Week one – above and below, experimenting with camera angles. Change your relatioship to your subject, offer a unique view and use your camera and lens creatively, out and about.

Week two – We will talk through camera functions then follow through with a prctical task, ‘Exploring the Extremes’, long exposure and fast shutter speed.

Week three – ‘Still Life’. depending on the weather we will create either indoor or outdoor still lives using our aperture and other techniques to draw attention to the subject.

Week four – ‘Addressing Portraiture’ using techniques to create in-camera manipulations

Week five – We will bond your best image to wood (materials supplied)
