Information - Mum & child learn to crochet

Would you like to learn how to crochet and so does your child, but you don’t have the patience to try and learn yourself whilst teaching them?

Well you don’t have to worry as this workshop is the perfect pairing for you both.

You can both learn together at the same time without the stress as I will be teaching you how to and sharing my love of crochet with you both.

During the session you will learn the basic stitches needed to start you on your crocheting journey, how to start off on a chain foundation row and basic stitches to get you started.

The session will last 1 hour and 30 minutes, there will be only 2 pairs per session allowing me enough time to give anyone who needs individual attention.

The fee includes your tuition, materials and refreshments for you both.

Suitable for ages 8 years up to 15 years

Only 1 child per parent, please do not bring other siblings along as there is no room for them to sit.

There is another parent & child intro to crochet session, it is easier than this one as you are working off a wooden base rather than from scratch. You will still be learning how to crochet and two different stitches.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
