Information - Mountain Peaks / Nailbed / The Fifth Flaw

Offbeat Ipswich brings an electric showcase of alternative tallent with mountain peaks (three piece screamo), Nailbed (alternative metal) and The Fifth Flaw (Punk rock Heroes).

mountain peaks are a three piece emo / post-hardcore trio based in Norwich. Known for their strong stage presence, intense dual vocals and melodic, hard-hitting songs. They integrate a variety of styles, from midwest emo style twinkly guitars to skramz vocals and elements. Influences include the likes of algae bloom and Suis La Lune, alongside Touché Amoré and La Dispute.

We’re Nailbed – an explosive trio based in Ipswich -the rawest band on the local alternative scene. With roots of grunge, heavy metal and post-hardcore, you’ll hear snippets of sound from bands like Basement, Alice in Chains and Pantera. Expect hard hitting, new territory metal.

Crashing into the South-East UK music scene in late 2023, “Surefire Punk-Rock Heros” The Fifth Flaw are reigniting the seemingly once lost raw, unfiltered, stomach-punching energy into modern music.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
