Get ready for an unforgettable evening with Michael Ball, Britain’s leading musical theatre star! With over 40 years at the top of his game, Michael Ball is a double Olivier Award-winning, Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum recording artist, and a much-loved radio and TV presenter. His incredible journey has taken him from West End and Broadway stage productions to millions of fans worldwide.

About Michael Ball

Michael has a remarkable career both on and off the stage. He hosts his own show on BBC Radio 2 every Sunday, and many will recognise him from his TV presenting work, including The Michael Ball Show on ITV1 and the travelogue Wonderful Wales on Channel 5. He’s also recently delighted audiences with a special Easter Sunday program for the BBC.

His concert tours have spanned continents – from Australia to China, the USA to Japan – and his historic 2007 BBC Proms debut was the first solo concert by a musical theatre star at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

More Than Just a Performer

Michael Ball isn’t just a performer – he’s also an author. His debut novel, The Empire, became a Sunday Times Bestseller in 2022. Since then, he’s released a memoir Different Aspects, completed a sold-out solo theatre tour across the UK, and published his second novel, A Backstage Betrayal.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
