Information - Lifting the Lid – all access tour of Ipswich Crematorium

Come and join us for an exclusive Death Cafe tour of Ipswich Crematorium. We’ll show you what happens from the time a coffin arrives at the chapel, let you explore the chapel, maybe even get a go at closing the curtains, and then we’ll take you behind the scenes to understand what happens once the curtains have closed.
We will be looked after by the amazing team at Ipswich Crematorium who will be happy to answer any questions you have about the process.
If the weather is favourable, once the tour is finished, we will be able to explore the surrounding cemetery and Temple of Remembrance, and then we will head to a local hostelry for a warming drink and chat about our tour.
We will be teaming up the Ipswich, Felixstowe and Saxmundham death cafes for this visit, so come along and meet some new friends and get your questions answered!
