Celebrating Heritage Open Days 2026, this free walk is entitled Life through the Ages.

Take a look at life down the ages in Ipswich, through the life of the inhabitants, and their struggle with poverty and poor housing. Discover the pubs, the schools, and the people, the Borough Goal, the slums and work on the dockside.

Starting 10.30 am at The Ancient House, Buttermarket, Ipswich IP1 1BT
