Information - KATHARINE: An immersive walking tour about the Tudor queen

Join us for this immersive performance inspired by the story of Katharine of Aragon at Ipswich County Library and rediscover the woman behind the crown.

Moving beyond the public records, this deeply moving and engaging performance uses cutting-edge audio technology and sensitive, site-specific staging to place you as an observer in an intimate world of power, betrayal and quiet resilience.

This is the story of one of history’s most misrepresented queens.

Performances last 55 minutes. Suitable for all ages.

Book your tickets for a time slot:

Please note: KATHARINE is a walking tour that explores the library venue. The tour naturally takes a slow pace and there will be opportunities to sit throughout. The performance uses silent disco headsets which will be handed out at the beginning.
