This Walk: A Tudor Walk From Town To ‘Countryside’
Venture through ‘North gate’ to hear about Tudor bad boy Edmund Withipoll, builder of Christchurch Mansion. Before leaving the safety of the defended medieval town area discover a fine 15th century gatehouse, an old coaching inn, and find out more about pioneering engineer Robert Ransome.
