Celebrating Unity and Inclusivity

In a landmark event for the community of Ipswich, the serene beauty of Christchurch Park’s mansion lawn will witness a historic moment on either the 9th or 10th of April, depending on the moon sighting, as it hosts the town’s inaugural open-air Eid Al Fitr Salaah, or congregational prayer. This significant occasion marks not only a cultural milestone but also a testament to the spirit of unity and inclusivity that thrives within our diverse community.

Entry: 8:00 am
Official Opening: 9:00 am by Mayor and sponsors
Public Lectures (Bayaan): 9:10 am
Eid Al Fitr Prayer (Jama’ah): 9:30 am
Eid Al Fitr sermon (Khutbah): 9:40 am
Du’a (supplication) 9:50 am
Event close: 10:00 am

What to Bring

Prayer mats (must)
Picnic mats (highly recommended)
Cash for donations (as mush as you can, Insha’Allah)
