Information - Ipswich Symphony Orchestra Autumn Concert

Ipswich Symphony Orchestra has an enviable reputation for performing adventurous programmes with world-class soloists.

  • Saint – Saëns:  Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah
  • Dvorak: Cello concerto in B minor
  • Beethoven: Symphony no. 5

Our concert on Saturday 30th November includes Beethoven’s iconic 5th Symphony plus another classical favourite, Dvorak’s Cello Concerto, with soloist, Adrian Brendel. A familiar presence at many of Europe’s leading festivals, Adrian is a hugely versatile performer playing classical and contemporary music as well as jazz improvisation.
