Come and sing with Ipswich Choral Society!
Love singing? Looking to meet new people and enjoy making music together? Ipswich Choral Society is a friendly mixed choir of around 100 members, bringing together singers with a wide range of musical experience.
We meet every Tuesday evening to rehearse a varied repertoire of music, working towards concerts at venues including Ipswich Minster and Snape Maltings Concert Hall. There’s plenty of opportunity to develop your singing, learn new music and enjoy being part of a welcoming musical community. We also organise regular social events, so there’s more to choir life than just singing!
Founded in 1824, we have a long musical history, but we’re always keen to welcome new faces. You’re very welcome to come along and try a rehearsal or two before deciding whether to join – no need to commit straight away!
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7.30pm
Venue: Northgate Arts Centre, Sidegate Lane West, Ipswich IP4 3DF
